Australian Health Management (AHM) - Covers only “Quit smoking for Hypnotherapy” with registered hypnotherapists.

CUA Health Fund - A doctor’s letter/referral is needed for advising that you are having “Hypnotherapy for Stress Management, Weight Loss or Quit Smoking”. Benefit of up to $200 per family per year. 

Health Care Insurance Limited - Covers only “Quit Smoking and Weight Loss Programs” Benefit of up to $150 per year. 

Health.com.au - Covers only “Weight Management and Stop Smoking”. “Health Maintenance Claim Form” https://help.health.maintenance-programs?b_id=1114 must be filled and signed by your GP. Benefit of up to $200 per year. You can also go via “Natural Health Therapy” cover - up to a further $300. Their Natural Health Cover section covers all other issues apart from the stop smoking and weight management. A claim via your Natural Health Therapist Cover does not require a GP signature. 

Medibank Private - Hypnotherapy rebates are only available to Medibank Private Members that were members prior to April 2011 and opted for package bonus. The package bonus allows their members to pick what they want to cover in their package bonus when they join. Bonuses accumulate at $50 per year total for the auxiliary package. Once per year. Online claims cannot be made for hypnotherapy. 

Queensland Country Health - Covers only “Hypnotherapy for weight Loss or Quit Smoking” under healthy living benefit on the Extras cover.
